Dr. Ashanti Coulanges — Founder, TEOPA (The Elite Academy of Performing Arts)

Dr. Ashanti Coulanges is the visionary Founder of TEOPA — The Elite Academy of Performing Arts, a dynamic institution dedicated to Christian education and arts integration. With over a decade of teaching experience in Palm Beach County, she brings passion, purpose, and proven expertise to cultivating excellence in both academics and the performing arts.

Her journey in the arts began as a gifted lead choreographer and devoted member of the world-renowned Chenaniah Praise Dancers, where she developed her creative expression and leadership in dance ministry.

Dr. Coulanges holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University, a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Ashford University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from National University. Her strong academic foundation, combined with real-world classroom experience, fuels her mission to empower students through transformational learning grounded in faith and creativity.

Guided by her core philosophy that “every child needs a champion,” Dr. Coulanges is deeply committed to nurturing the whole child — fostering confidence, resilience, and artistic voice in every learner she serves.

Highly qualified and purpose-driven, Dr. Coulanges integrates her expertise in education, psychology, and the performing arts to lead TEOPA in shaping the next generation of confident, creative, and Christ-centered leaders.
